Hyosang Park, Artistic Director
Hyosang Park holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sacred Music from Sungkyul Christian University in Korea and a Double Master’s Degree in Sacred Music and Piano Performance from Westminster Choir College. While at Westminster, she was a member of the renowned Westminster Concert Bell Choir, performing under the direction of Kathy Ebling Shaw, a world-leading handbell director and clinician.
In 2012, after several years of performing together, solo handbell artist Hyosang Park and collaborative pianist Akiko Hosaki formed Duo Grazioso. Featuring Hyosang’s four-octave Malmark handbells (C4–C8), the duo has performed at many venues throughout New Jersey and regularly appears at the Community Thanksgiving Service held at the Princeton University Chapel. In the summer of 2014, Duo Grazioso was invited to perform at the Handbell Musicians of America National Seminar in Atlanta, GA.
Hyosang is also a member of the handbell quartet Quadrants, which has been performing at churches and schools since 2018. The ensemble was featured at the Handbell National Symposium in St. Louis, MO, in 2019. In 2024, Philadelphia Bronze—another ensemble she performs with—was invited to the Handbell National Seminar in Hartford, CT.
Hyosang is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Worship Studies at the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies. She serves as the Choir Director/Organist at Emilie United Methodist Church in Levittown, PA, and also works at Malmark Bells, Inc. in Plumsteadville, PA.
